District Hall Boston is the world’s first free-standing civic innovation center, combining free public workspace with innovative rental rooms. As a non-profit, nearly all of our operating budget is earned by rental and event income from the world-class innovative companies in our city. District Hall normally hosts over 1,000 events and 90,000 people each year, and donates hundreds of thousands of dollars in space to nonprofit and community partners. The COVID-19 pandemic has temporarily closed our spaces. While we’re making tough financial choices to meet this new reality, we also need your help to weather this moment and pivot our strategy to respond to these new economic conditions.
