The Venture Café Foundation and Suburban Integrated Facilities Resources proudly present the second event in the series called “The Veteran Entrepreneur” on November 16th, 2015 at District Hall in Boston, MA. This programming series aims to continue joint efforts to connect, inspire, and support military veterans in their efforts to start businesses, while also focusing more deeply on the broad issues facing the veteran community.
From homelessness to healthcare, veterans and those supporting them seek to be leaders in uncovering innovative solutions to tackle society-wide issues. In addition to offering a forum to help veterans navigate the start-up stage, the night will include a frank discussion on veterans issues, bringing together aspiring and established entrepreneurs with the greater Boston community to advance dialogue and establish actions.
Military veterans have skills and experiences that are unique in many ways – we aim to honor their service by invigorating their stake in the start-up and innovation economy and addressing ways to improve quality of life for our returning service men and women.
