1927 Underwood Standard Portable Typewriter: ~20′ square and 8′ tall typewriter, with keys approximately the size of bar stools!
The Blunderwood Portable is a project that will be built for Burning Man 2015 by the Cat and the Cockroach Collective. They are building a 24:1 scale 1927 Underwood Standard Portable Typewriter and a matching set of giant poems to the playa. At this scale, the typewriter will be ~20′ square and 8′ tall at the highest point. The keys will be approximately the size of bar stools. Poems will be 16′ wide and up to 40′ long!
Join for a night of music, dancing, giant art, and interactive video projections and help raise funds to make this project a reality!
