District Hall: Beta Breaks

Step away from your computer and stop by District Hall for your “hump day” Beta Break between 12 pm – 2 pm, and let your beta waves recharge.

This week’s activity: Desk Yoga (work clothes are fine!)

Beta brain waves are active when our attention is focused on accomplishing tasks in the outside world. Studies show that giving those beta waves a break and temporarily shifting your focus actually makes you more effective.
